Appointments for Service

Morningstar has established itself as one of the largest builders of single family homes in British Columbia. Appointments for service are made during regular business hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The homeowner must be present when the customer service representative is responding to warrantable claims. Please ensure that you schedule your service appointments so that you can remain at home until the repairs are complete.

At Your Service

Morningstar homes is there for our homeowners every step of the way. This means that a team of helpful Morningstar staff will be by your side throughout the building and buying process. We’re one of only a few companies with in-house Sales, Construction and Customer Service Teams. Once you take possession of your home, you’ll have the support of our Customer Care Team that will be there to answer any questions, address any concerns and deal with any repair items you may have.

Your Orientation

This pre-move-in visit is your first opportunity to see your new home. Your Customer Care Manager will conduct the orientation and demonstrate all the functions of your home so you can understand how everything works, inside and out! This is also an opportunity to confirm all of the options you selected with our Sales Team are correct and to note any warrantable deficiencies.

Your Home Warranty

All homes built by Morningstar are covered by a 2-5-10 year home warranty by Travelers Canada. This coverage includes materials and labour for 12 months , 15 months for common property, 2 years for distribution systems, 5 years for the building envelope, and 10 years for structural. Travelers Canada offers some of the most comprehensive home warranty coverage in North America, and provides homeowners with peace of mind and confidence in their new home purchase.

24-Hour Support Line

Morningstar homeowners have additional peace of mind knowing they have a dedicated all-hours number in case of emergencies. What is considered an emergency can be found in your Homeowner Maintenance Manual. For urgent inquiries you may call the 24-hour Customer Service support line at 604.521.0038 ext.270.
